    Headset recomendations

Well my altec lansing headset decided to die on me after 1 year of use, i suppose the few times the wire got tangled on me and fell to the floor has taken its toll, first the speakers went then the mic 4 months later
Anyways, i need recomendations on any good headset, budget can be up to 50 quid. I have heard rave reviews about the plantronics line, but not sure, so any person with a good headste that has lasted for years, or any one who knows a decent headset, your help is much appreciated.

I can heartily recommend the Speed-Link medusa 51. surround sound headset. I don't personally own a pair but a mate does, they're fantastic, reall surround sound in a headset! They cost about £40 which is a bargain considering they come with an amp included unlike the zalman surround ones.

Just replaced my Medusas based on another thread here recently....

Got the Sennheiser PC150s. The Medusas mic is bad and the junction box (they are powered) picks up a lot of interference if its close to your PC, mobile or cordless phone. Other then that, the Medusas are good headphones.

    Extremly happy with the PC150s.

I've got a set of the Medusa 5.1 and they're great.

The external amp box really does pick up intereference if you've got a GSM phone about but I've been using a 3G phone and don't get that problem anymore (different signal).
