Crikey! That would push my budget over £3k! I'm only hoping to spend £2.5k max lol.

Question about that 24" HDTV, will it have a dedicated HDMI socket?

I might just get a big screen TFT in January/Febuary 2006 and stick with my 19" CRT in the meantime . What would be better, the Dell 24" TFT monitor or Dell 26" LCD TV? I'll be using either to play PC games and watching flims.

I would personally go for the 24" monitor anyday, but thats me

I don't know about the socket things either I'm afriad, but you are guaranteed it will have DVI, Composite, VGA and S-Video (they are on the 2005FPW)

Guess I'll stick with my CRT until the new year. I've just found out the Dell 24" does not support a HDMI connection . I'll have to get a HDMI - DVI cable so I can play the 360 on it . Then all I'll have to worry about is decoding the sound lol.

Will that cable work for my 2005FPW so I can play something like 720i or whatever it is? Because I will get that too then
