I've used HP, Canon and Epson printers, HP have been the most reliable out of the lot, but cartridges aren't so cheap. Epson are a pile of junk in my opinion.
Get one of the Canon ip1500's, around £35 online I think, cheap cartridges, I think I got 10 compatible ones for £10!

Get a cheap HP they might be a little dearer on ink cartridges but the cartridges come with new print heads,
as far as I know the Canon cartridges are cheap because they dont come with new print heads ?

Yes Cannon carts dont come with heads, cheap carts there are but the last lot I got didnt last long at all, Gipo if yours are any good lemme know i need some more. Tried to get some on a scan special but got the wrong type

HP ones are good for the above reason but also you wouldnt want to get cheap ones...
