I recently built the new PC, and put IKEA desk together. Need to make a little space for that printer, and maybe get another chair.
There also seems to be a model railway developing towards the side.

You know what would just add the finishing touch to that room?
A few lava lamps dotted around, you can't have enough lava lamps. :P
Sticking with the initial premise of no more than three shots, don't think I've contributed to this thread before.
This is my computer area. We had the house rebuilt and put this room off the staircase where it doubles back on itself. The low wall you can see if there the stairs come up, then there's a little landing with two steps leading up to the computer area, and the "main" stairs going up to where i took this image from:
http://www.lawboy.co.uk/images/1.jpg
This is my desk/ computer. The second monitor is wall mounted. The first is on the desk. The PC is, as you can see, under the desk. I've cut through the PC-facing-plank where it backs up to the pC so that all the wires route through into the space behind the desk. Three of the 5.1 speakers are here, the other two are behind me.
http://www.lawboy.co.uk/images/2.jpg
and here's the third shot, which is the right of the one above. On the table we have my 5.1 amp, and the printer. Underneath is the bass speaker and the house Server. Surround sound speaker on the radiator.
http://www.lawboy.co.uk/images/3.jpg
Sorry, I have to post a fourth image as I'm quite proud of it. This is my book case, which is made from 4 Ikea "billy" book cases, 2 old large ones and 2 of the newer, smaller large size. They fit in an alcove in the wall to the millimetre, which is was lucky. If I'd left them as stock, there would be two side peices betwen each, but I took them apart, drilled through the side pieces so that I could dispense with one side piece per case. To put is another way, as stock, they'd look like this I-I I-I I-I I-I where I is a side piece and - is the shelves. By taking out various side pieces, they're like this I-I-I-I-I, which looks way cooler and pretty much bespoke
http://www.lawboy.co.uk/images/4.jpg
You can just about see my AT-ATs feet top right. There's a surround sound speaker on the shelves, with obscured wiring behind it.

Looking through these I realise how much a triple monitor setup is missing from my life :P
Jaw has dropped. Awesome setup there jetfire. I have 2 screens and love it but would love to get more, just another item for my wishlist.
The amount of people who have triple monitors setup make one envy with green eyes...!
I have 3 atm but there all different sizes, really considering selling them all and replacing them with a single 1440p ultrawide, the Dell curved one has my fancy.
This is my latest

Well, I've been a member on here a while now and I'm yet to post a setup image, mainly because I change it so bloody often, but I'm mostly happy with mine now (Except I have a blue keyboard and red mouse mat - it's infuriating and needs to be sorted).

maybe its time for a clean up...
What kind of busy weekend requires a roll of toilet tissue on your desk? :p
actually its a roll of labels, but i can see how it would look like bog roll
Refreshing to see you keeping your HP sauce levels topped up on those mammoth gaming/coding sessions
This is how it looks day to day - cluttered shelves and still to sign of cable management

Here's a quick pic of my desk, need to tidy up a bit and find a way to properly light the place to take better photos/get a tripod for longer exposures.

lots of nice setup. i will post mine as soon as i finish building my new pc =)
Hi Guys,
Been many years since I posted my setup..but i've spent the past 2 days rebuilding my office so figured now would be a good time :) The goal here was to roughly double my desk space to allow for a "workstation" area for heli building and a 3D printer..but also to increase "tidy" storage space on the right wall. Also to make things match for a change since the current furniture is a mish-mash from various places that i've lived over the past 15 years!
So, this is the before..
http://i.imgur.com/5sVtXejh.jpg
and this is after
http://i.imgur.com/5R3c0XGh.jpg
Total spent was something like £300 (I don't want to add it up) and it took about 2 days in total, including the shopping and many trips to the tip. New furniture is all IKEA and i'm pretty happy with it so far:)
Bekant 140x60cm desk (left hand desk) - solid desk, no cardboard which is unusual for ikea!
Linmon desk attached to 4x4 KALLAX storage - this is quite neat, as it uses 2 standard legs and then also attaches to the KALLAX so its super stable. Made of cardboard still :)
4x4 KALLAX square storage, with some cupboard inserts
Lindy PC "trolley" (to lift it off the carpet)
2x Lindy Monitor Arms - these were pretty decent considering they only cost £25 delivered from amazon. Seem solid so far and save a lot of space!
I still need to fine tune positioning and also re-wire in my Oculus Rift sensors, but thats a job for another day. I also plan to get a decent chair..probably a DX Racer, but that will need to wait until next month's payslip. Along with the initial 3D printer parts :D
Got myself a new desk from IKEA, along with a 34" LG 34UM95-P 3440 x 1440.

Took two old desk tops and atached them to this bunk bed frame. Not perfect but a good stop gap until I get myself a proper desk to fit this frame :)

Still a work in progress, but certainly getting there. Next target is one of those 49" double-ultra-super-duper-wides. 3840 x 1080.

There is a 200hz 3440x1440 ultrawide due out next year - Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ. Will be one to watch (albeit I'm sure for a crazy price).
My work desk. Not enough space for all my screens!

Got some monitor arms and also acquired some Razer Nommo Chroma speakers as well as the Razer Mamba Hyperflux + Firefly mouse/mousemat combo.
It's the Razer Chroma Hardware Development Kit.

Dooms, out of interest, is that the Ikea drawers that you can use as a stand for the table-top?
And if so, is the table top itself from Ikea?
I wanted a longer table so got a cheap one from ikea and its truly terrible, makes my mic wobble when I type and has a centre piller I am always kicking
I now call this setup Wlack and Bhite (excuse the mess, new desk and room / house by the end of the year so not tidying until the move):

Thermaltake Core V1 cases in both black and white, best case ever for just £40.
Asus Rog Swift 1440p main monitor, Acer G24 1200p second monitor currently.
I also have an old 19" sony x black 1280x1024 monitor lying around, after moving out the Acer & Sony will both be used with the G4560, and I'll be getting a 21:9 3440x1440 monitor for the main build and using the Rog Swift in portrait mode with it.
My workstation at home:
https://forums.hexus.net/members/spr...orkstation.jpg
Dell XPS 15 9570 plus an Aorus GTX 1070 Gaming Box
Had a big change around. Gotten shot of the ultrawide because it was hopeless for gaming on. Instead rocking an ASUS ROG PG279Q. Swapped out the corner desk too and opted for a straight desk; was getting a sore neck from the 1300mm span of the two monitors and the curved desk.
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...40/DSC0169.jpg
I'm sure my ALEX drawers came with small rubber pads that I could place on the top to stop the worktop slipping about. They might have been the same ones you put on the back of the drawers to dampen the noise.
So, after getting rid of my old ultrawide, I missed all the extra pixels, so I've had another swap about. Got myself the Acer Predator Z35P.
G-Sync
3440 x 1440
120Hz
35"
1800R Curvature
It's lovely.
Now using the ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q in portrait mode for Discord and websites. We'll see if I get a sore neck with this arrangement.

My computer desk in my study little bit tidied but still with some untidy papers etc. It's in the middle of a long term renewal. When we moved house my desk got damaged so I got a new desk from IKEA 3 years ago. I dropped our old printer while it was stored in the garage so we got a new one of those and I was glad as the old printer was just a lot of bother to use. Last year I built a new PC build which feels like I'm still building it as I just added two arctic F14 silent fans and a Noctua NH-U12s CPU cooler and I'm still tinkering with the RAM settings and thinking about changing that.
Taking this photo has reminded me my mouse pad is ancient and too big so I need to look into a good new cloth pad ASAP! The chair is knackered and will maybe be next. New speakers are on the list and maybe a new amplifier or powered speakers. My Gale G20s and Amptastic Mini-T are fine but I want better. New screen maybe next year although my old and great 275T is still doing well and I'm waiting for a reasonably priced 1440p 144hz 30" or similar screen to be made.
