My desk at uni;
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...c_06_light.jpg
On the left is my Linux Thinkpad T20 (14.1") (though it's got the old Windows drive in atm) on which I do all my uni work (mainly coding Java), on the far right is my Windows 2k box which outputs to the two 15" Flatrons, & up on the windowsill is my Linux Shuttle XPC which is a media box & outputs to the 17" CRT which used to belong to one of my lecturers. I have another 15" CRT (also a freebie) which I'm gonna plug my Dreamcast into, but I haven't worked out where to put it yet! Oh & on the far left you may recognise the huge beige bulk as a HP LaserJet 4 M Plus, a mono laser printer sold to mid-size businesses in the 90's with a release price of $1600 (£32 on ebay, & much better than the crappy little bubblejets that all the other students bought from Argos).
The speakers that you can't really see are Logitech X220s, which are quite good for £30, but I miss my vintage Aurex amplifier & proper bookshelf speakers from home - pity the walls here are too thin!
The machines would be linked together via a Netgear RT314, however the connection runs 802.1x authentication & the old Netgear can't do that.
I have my 20GB FreeNAS server & a spare 750MHz slot Athlon under the bed as well.
Abd yes, I probably have the neatest desk of any uni student, especially for a guy!
Neatest, most probably :P Mines a tip currently, and thats with just the basics on it :(
What can I say? I hate mess! I haven't even shown you all the power cabling under the desk - all cable-tied up beautifully. Does make it a huge hassle when you want to move somthing though, because that ruins all my hard work...
UPDATE;
Okay, I've now got the 15" CRT destined for Dreamcast duties setup on the left, with the printer now on the floor to the left of said 15" CRT. It's hooked into my Thinkpad at the moment just to give it some 'burn in' time to make sure it's okay after having sat in a dusty/damp storage room for several years.
I'll link so as not to overload this page with my humble abode!

(I'm stress-testing the machine on the far right by running a Prime95 max heat torture test & the nvidia Dawn demo, to check all is okay after removing the NB fan (which was jammed) - hence what spurred me to go looking for Dawn piccies! Pity Nvidia didn't seem to make complementing wallpapers of Dusk & Dawn so I could have one on each monitor.)
damn thats overkill!
Nope, I think it's just enough kill! (Obscure Buffy quote there...)
Just moved, absolute chaos, but I need to set up the lab properly in my new home and get rid of the mess of wires. For the time being though, here is where I do all the work I do round here :)

The PC itself, minus floppy drive which i've yet to reassemble after breaking off and then re-soldering the power connected.
Ugly case innit?!
Edit: Note the buzz lightyear on top of the amp beside the desk, am I cool or what? ;)
Matt is that an Ikea Mikael desk? (or 2)
