Looks a bit like the Yellow Pages/burgled ad.

I bet you know where everything is though..right

My desk at work, I though I had posted this before.

My laptop is not on the desk at the moment (it goes in that big empty space to the right) and yes that is a fully operation POS Till

I use Synergy to control the Till and my laptop

Unlike an unltra neat area which looks like you couldn't do anything in it for fear of makeing the slightest mess.

however why has you got what looks like 3 cloths drying horses stacked up at the side? Just seems a really strange thing in amoungst all the scattered pc parts.

Cherry G80-3000HSMGB/05, dual-shot keycaps on Cherry blue switches, incredible to type on Even better, I found 2 of them getting thrown out so I didn't have to pay a penny for them! Though I did need to wash them...

    Nice one.
Don't get me wrong I know how nice the older switch keyboard are to type on, if you have two of them Then I'd condiser modding to to update it, take it apart, sand it down and paint it.

I could paint the frame, but with the caps being dual-shot they can't be painted without completely defeating the point of them being dual-shot! I guess you would still have the added weight, but you would lose the gorgeous high-contrast of the lettering.

Don't ruin it's classic style by painting it, there is really no need to. I have one just like that (http://forums.hexus.net/chassis-syst...ml#post1660150) and love it, I have had to make a few concessions to modern life though and attach a ms ergonomic kb via usb in addition to that one, I do quite a bit of typing at night, and the other half was able to drown out the clicking of it with her moaning so I had to buy something a bit quieter to use then, but I don't enjoy typing on that nearly as much.

I did find it slightly annoying that friends would mock me for spending £££ like there was no tomorrow on my computer, but still sticking with the keyboard I got with my first pc.

Edit: I should point out that I have the old kb still attached and used, I just have to plug in the usb one if I am using the comp at night.

Yeah I got complaints from my flatmates back in my first year of university when I was hacking away on an NTC 'board with ALPS switches at 3am, had to plug in my trusty Saitek Eclipse!

Here's mine as of this afternoon

Whilst it appears to be a case of "how many computers can you fit into less than 1m squared" that isn't the idea

None of the computers there are anything impressive - the ATX is a Pentium D system, the mini ITX is a Celeron E1500 and has just been built, the laptop is a Pentium M IBM thinkpad which I got for free and the Slim ATX on the floor is a junker from left over bits/obsolete hardware an AMD Athlon XP 2200+
