Making use of my old hard drive

Hi ive bought a new 200gig sata samsung spinpoint hdd which i want to use as the main (master) drive in my computer ive also got my old maxtor 80gig ide hard drive which i am planning to use for dumping all my downloads / music onto it , how do i make this hard drive into a mass storage drive? a friend of mine has done it but hes away on holiday so i cant ask him about how he did it at ze mo .

Install the SATA drive, set it to boot befoer the old drive and then instlal windows and all of your stuff on it.

Leave the old drive intalled, repartition it, format it, then just use it. Set defalt doanload locationsa s such to the new drive if you so choose.
