I've just bought a Thecus N4100 for where I work which is pretty similar in spec etc., after using it and doing plenty of research the one thing I have learnt is that these all in one cheap NAS boxes have poor throughput :(
They're a millions miles away from a server to server copy and even slower than a LTO based tape backup.
Personally I'd either buy one of the high end NAS boxes running Windows Storage Server (bloody expensive) or build my own storage server...
Thanks for the feedback. I have also read some good reviews of it on Toms Hardware and they seem to think its great but for me user feedback is quite important as well.

Trouble is they are slow - very slow.
What are you using it for? whats your aims with it?
Will be using it to stream movies etc. I also read a review on Toms HArdware but they didnt say anything about it being slow.
Have you used the unit yet?
I think you'll find it will easily accomodate that for you, although for streaming movies I'd say it was overkill.
From a business perspective I've been attempting to use them as as a means of backing up to disk using software like Veritas Backup Exec and they fail miserably in this sort of situation :(
