    My complete system

I have just completed the order for this system for my brother, opinions on how well it should perform and any pitfalls I need to know about would be much appreciated.

(First PC Build by the way)

    • Asus A8N-SLI Socket 939 Motherboard - LINK
    • AMD (Venice) Athlon 64 3500 with 512Kb Cache - LINK
    • Kingston 1 Gb strip of PC3200 RAM - LINK
    • OcUK GeForce 7800Gt PCI-Express SLI - LINK
    • Seagate Barracuda 160Gb SATA - LINK
    • Antec Sonata II Black with 450W PSU - LINK
    • Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 2.1 - LINK

To go with this list is a copy of XP Pro and also, when running stable, another 1Gb strip of RAM to make the system up to 2Gb. Very shortly we will be adding a 17" TFT to the system, which will bring the overall cost to £1050 including delivery on everything.

    How does this sound?

Pro all the way mate, hate XP Home, think for what you pay you get something so sub-standard.

pretty all round system.. but a 17'' monitor is WAY too small to push anything in those 7 series PCBs...

Also, you might want to lose those Kingston for some Ballistix lovin..

Rubbery plasticky Sonata.. you either love it or hate it.. your choice.
    Me want Ultrabook
