    fx57 cooler upgrade?

My cpu came with a big finned thinggey cooler with heat-pipes poking out of it and fan bunged on top .....
The thing is, Ive already bought the zalman 120mm ally/copper flower cooler.(cnps 7700-alcu). Is this a better one for the fx57?

A bit tough driving a bus-load of bleating passengers around london, but it pays good to build a dream-pc... got all the bits. Maybe your girls could ease my suffering.

You are a bus driver? What buses do you use out of interest? You can always catch me on the W11, W13, W19, 179, 20, 275, and a few others... not all at the same time of course.

I drive the .. 493 , 200 , 127, 152 , 201 ... sort of south london band between the inner and outer ring road. the craziest and only south african driver. like to talk to only sensibly dessed girls with hiking -boots. also anyone who likes to chat, the trip goes faster, and meet interesting people.
the pc is together, and rocks! had to reload windows once, and norton also to get rid of glitches. sorted now down loaded drivers to disk and upgraded from there.
zalman cooler with cool n quiet at 40-55 deg c all ok.

Hi, everyone... Too much overtime lately, not enough playing!
The monitor is iiyama prolite 19'' (8 milisec)
    3dmark 05 (free) v 1.2.0

score in standard mode is 12254

with Ai nos enabled to 5% it is 12601
    cpu score 5839
cpu goes from 2800mhz up to 2941mhz
the gtx cards core clock jump from 450mhz to 491mhz
the gtx memory clock registers 1255mhz

(This was done automatically with the asus desktop Ai booster) System crashes over 5%, and anyway sounds better with the system set standard, and cool n' quiet enabled. Far cry came standard with the gtx boards, and looks really great with all the eye candy maxed up. The game doesnt seem to have terrifically high specs, though. Doom3 sometime then.

In october the artic cooling coolers come out for the 7800 gtx boards, so probably get some. the design makes sense. eying the xp120 processor cooler, or zalman (double wheel on its edge type) cnps95000 - led. Both look quite good, zalman maybe quieter.

If I can figure out how to post pictures onto here, Ill upload? some. (never done that before.)

Nice rig there mate. I personally wouldn't overclock using a winblow$ utility: but thats up to ya

As for the cooler: an XP-120 with any 120mm fan would be sweet

upload pictures to: www.imageshack.us and post the "forum link" one
