Thread: Need help with SIL3114 on A8N-SLI Deluxe

    Need help with SIL3114 on A8N-SLI Deluxe

    How can I force the controller to run in non-RAID mode?
    I have 2 WD2000JB(with SATA adapter) connected to the SIL3114. I don't want to raid them (and they are completely full of data).

    It keep asking me to setup RAID arrays and I of course not going to do it. So now my windows cannot see the drive.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    There should be somewhere in the BIOS that let you do that. I havent use the Asus, but i guess there something like disable/Raid/Non-raid in the bios setup? No?

    My Tyan board has that setting, but its not in the Asus
