I have this problem (also with WinAmp) on my A7N8X-D V2.0, and presumed it was overheating because the Southbridge does get toasty ... not got round to sorting it but that confirms it :)

it's a different media player, that has very good sound quality and includes built in DSP and can convert 2 channel sound to 5.1, only bad thing's about it are it has no graphics output and it is not as pretty to look at (Very basic) but everyone i know who has installed it says it sounds much better than winamp & windows media player.

I'm allways open for new media players as I'm ALLWAYS using one! (Weather its on my PC or on the go with an MP3 player)!
UPDATE - Just had a go ... Umm - it looks like CDEX and theres no media thingy!
Sorry unrealrocks, i knew i'd described it wrongly it's a Music player only not media (Doh!:o)
If you loose your CD drives in CDEX, its usually because of MSN messenger for some strange reason.Quote:

i think theres a patch whch solves this problem i had this wih my abit board and the patch cured it
