    Struggling

    Can anybody point me in the way of a retailer that can supply me a cable to plug a Toshiba MK4004GAH 40gig 1.8 Harddrive into a standard IDE port.....Ive found loads of 2.5 to 3.5 cables (Ive even brought one in the vain hope it would work) Ive also search Scan and Komplett.

    Hope this is in the right forum I know it possible should be in find me a bargin but Ive had no luck so far so wanted a more open forum

    right. going by that spec page, it looks like the drive has the same interface as either a Compact Flash ot PCMCIA card (68pins). take a look at the CF to IDE atapter here http://linitx.com/index.php?cPath=39.

    might be worth dropping them an email though, just to be on the safe side.
