    Weigh you PSU :-)

    I did

Well I had total lack of stability with a brand new Sempron 2300 on an Abit NF7 mobo, and even at vanilla speeds it was unstable after a while.

I tried it all....ram.....re applying the silver paste, new hdd, 3 video cards...

so it had to be PSU related and sadly the Clio case I got from Scan on the uber deal a month ago had a bargain basement "400w" psu in it.

I had a spare 330w from my old chieftech, that ran solid as a rock on my normal system, so it was swap time.

Now when I took the chieftech OUT a year ago to change it for a True Power 480w (top top psu) I thought at the time how much heavier the NEW Truepower was than the Chieftech coming out.

But this time its the Chieftech thats heavier than the "other brand"

SO the kitchen digital scales came out

400w thingy power supply 1140 grams
330 Chieftech power suply 2205 grams.

Now without sounding toooo anal, and I know weight is only from heatsinks and stuff....

HOW BIG A DIFFERENCE is that?
