    Which 2gb Memory?

    Hi

Im going to be upgrading to 2gb of memory so I want 2 sticks of 1gb each.

Ive currently come up with 2 options

    1. Geil 3-4-4-8 160 quid
    2. Corsair XMS 2-3-3-6 200quid

Which do you think i should go for and have you got any other suggestions?

Do you think the timings on the corsair are worth 40 quid more?

Those are very good timings on that Corsair. I would paymore for it.

Are you going to be overclocking at all? If so I highly recommend Crucial Tracers (direct from Crucial), hefty price (£260) but they OC a treat

Well I meant if you were going to OC your RAM to keep it 1:1 with an OC on your processor.

If not then the Corsair stuff will be excellent

At the moment im not really thinking about overclocking. However this could change in the future when my gaming pc gets old and could do with the extra boost. This will be the last ram i get for this system cos its a SFF and only has 2 memory slots so Im thinking whether spending that little extra will be worth it.
