It might not be as nice and sleek as the virtual concept keyboard we all drooled about a few months back, but this one is set to appear sometime in Jan 2006 :)

It's cool - got a whole Sinclare thing going on.
I shall be waiting to see if the sexiest keyboard I have ever seen will come out (WildmonkeyUK's post). If not then I'll be keeping my Saitek Ecplise Thanks you very much :)
Not for me
Aye, and that keyboard only seems to have LCD buttons at the top of the keyboard, the majority of the keys are normal. The whole 'Quake' keyboard config shown in the concept pictures is going to make me wait ;)
darn. i tot it would be more like a touch screen keyboard. from what i see the F1-F12 has picture. or did i look at the wrong product?
saitek eclipse wins by a mile anytime... those green black interface looks like my apple IIe
Very fugly. The optimus however is awsome. I wouldn't mind paying £200 for one. There would be hell to pay if anyone spilt coke on it.
It does look quite interesting, I have to agree with "csi_grissom" as well, the Saitek's do look sweet.
The Optimus does look amazing as well, might be out of my price range though.
with the impact i type with id be scared of breaking an LCD display, plus it looks fugly, i guess they change the backlight to blue like everything else at somepoint
That's cool.. :devilish:Quote:

Would apps need to be written for it, or would a system level driver take care of detecting apps? (retorical)
I guess it's likely that an app taking care of that, rather than drivers. And those guy at United should fire the designer, it's plain ugly.
