AC97 sound from my A8N-SLI Deluxe is giving out some pretty nasty noise which I don't get fom my Audigy2ZS.
I'm wondering if its normal? And how can I reduce the noise? Its getting annoying
Don't want to throw more money into another Audigy2

I've had some issues with my AC97. The plug sokcets are squiffy which means you need to ram the plugs in. I fixed the sound problem by moving all the cables and stuff as far away from it as possible.
Some on-board sound is just crap. It's far more suceptible to interference from other components than an add in card is.
