Erm... I don't know whether you need a microphone or not! It all depends on what you want to do. The computer I'm typing this on does perfectly well without speakers. You can get headsets that combine speakers and a microphone if that's what you want.

P.S. It would be helpful if you called it a mic or microphone... calling it Mike might get confusing.

Yer, site is a bit messed. Im talking aboit a mic (ill have one of you too) sos, mike is a bad habbit. Its for gaming where i need to talk but want to use speakers. (otherwise i MAY get some medusa headphones)

Well, I just use a normal microphone that sits happily on my desk... I don't like wearing headphones or headsets or whathaveyou.Originally Posted by nvening
