Is it possible to have my soundcard send sounds through my usb headset whilst still being able to use the mic?? Seems a shame to not use the ultra high quality setting on BF2. Thanks for any help you can offer all.

Hmm - not sure actually as I think USB headsets basically are their own soundcard....

(In case you're wondering - i'm not a techy - so i'm pleased when I get something slightly technical right )
I don't think you can link your headset into your soundcard via USB. I tried on a mates and got nothing, you might have some luck fiddling with its properties in the control Panel.
Go to:
Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices properties -> Audio tab
Set your playback to USB, and recording to Xfi.
