    USB Headset - X-fi

    Is it possible to have my soundcard send sounds through my usb headset whilst still being able to use the mic?? Seems a shame to not use the ultra high quality setting on BF2. Thanks for any help you can offer all.

    Hmm - not sure actually as I think USB headsets basically are their own soundcard....

    I'm probably wrong on this

    Nope, your right : )
    They do all their own sound processing at a driver level (aka, a bit of software using the CPU to do its work). Hence why they work fine with no soundcard

    I don't think you can link your headset into your soundcard via USB. I tried on a mates and got nothing, you might have some luck fiddling with its properties in the control Panel.
