hey guys jsut wondering what the standard voltage is for
Intels website turns up nothing, and when i go overclock this in teh shuttles BIOS, that i run it in, it is at AUTO as standard, so i dont know where to start,

i think standard is around 1.5v, stay under 1.6 and you will be fine.
i used to run mine at 1.65 i think thats the max safe vcore, some others say 1.6 is max
you sure? my old 1700+ started at 1.6 and went (with cooling) all the way to 2.1
i 'thought' it started at 1.6v (probly a guess based on my old athlon chip) doesnt seem like much of a range, id rather have a concrete value that it will be at stock at, so i know when i shoudl start overclocking from![]()

Thanks, 2.1v it islol, still dont know what its stock is though? its max wouldnt be its stock no?

i say anything above 1.5v is too much for air cooling.
quick update, put 1.525v through it, and i think ive a dead mobo now :/
