SATA and PATA Probs

I recently got a 160gb samsung sata drive, i put i set it up and it appears as the third master in my bios as i have a 120gb seagate (pata) as my primary master.

I installed windows onto the new sata drive, and formatted the pata drive, however my system will not boot from the sata drive unless the pata drive has been disconnected, ive looked all over the bios but i cannot find any thing, the only way it looks like im going to be able to do this is by having the windows installation on the pata drive and all my data on the sata drive, but i wanted this the other way round! if anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

My spec is:

160gb Samsung SATA
120gb Seagate PATA
MSI Neo2 Platinum

BTW the pata drive is set to slave, i didnt think that would make any difference though.

Doesn't your mobo have a hdd boot priority option? I know that mine do so that I can boot from SATA before PATA.
