SN85V2 Problem

Someone just gave me an SN85G4V2, but there is one problem, i get blue screened everytime i try 2 install windows i think it might be my video card or my memory. i have a sapphire aTI radeon 9550 256mb DR & i hav 1 gig of memory (2x 512) 1 is supertalent & 1 is kingston. im not sure what the problem is plz help

Try installing with only one stick of ram Shuttle's are very picky about ram and this is probably your problem. If it still blue screen's try it in the other slot then repeat with the other stick if it continue's to blue screen. If that doesn't work i would suggest using memtest to check the ram.

I have tried that but i still get blue screend. How do i use a memtest in DOS

Just google memtest there should be a link to a bootable CD just use that.

alrite i got xp 2 install but when it first tried to boot da comp jus restarted now i dont know wat da prob is

how do u make a bootable cd to upgrade the BIOS & chipset
