I'm trying to undervolt my Venice 3000+. I know the CPU can do 0.97V in my last board. So I set the voltage to 1V, and plan to down down the way.
But strange things happens. Regardless of whether it is Windows or BIOS. I can't get the Vcore below 1.10V, despite I set 0.95V in the BIOS.
Anyone got same experience?
It could be the sensors misreporting, make sure your saveing the settings changes?
The sensors might be wrong, but how can I check it? I'll probably see if I can put the voltage down to 0.9V and see if it boots. If it does, that means the sensor is wrong...Quote:

EDIT2: Prime95 did die just now....So it appears to be working....
EDIT3: Tried even lower voltage and the temperature does not go down, no error coming up as well. Asus PC Probe keep interfering with SP2004 which caused illegal sumout. After I closed all Asus-related programs SP2004 ran fine. Speedfan also reporting 1.1V. So its definitely something wrong with the voltage regulator that doesn't allow me to drop below 1.1V.
