    Right well I now have 2 x 1gb modules of GSkill GX DDR500 PC4000.

    Got it running @ 240 x 11 @ 2.5-4-3-8 1:1. Gonna push it up to 250 x 11 tonight.

Playing BF-2 I could only ever go up to 1124 x 864 (or whatever). I put these babies in and:

So it actually came up with my native res for my 17" monitor!

BF-2 now runs VERY smooth, the game loads VERY quickly, and closes VERY quickly (my system took about 1minute+ to recover with 1gb before).

Now cranked up to highest AA/AF/performance settings 1280 x 1024.

The moral: get more RAM as it WILL rule!

    (2005FPW going in tonight BTW)
