    Of mice and, erm, mice

    Hello fellow Hexusites!

I currently have a Razor Boomslang 2000 gaming mouse which I love to bits. I think it may be starting to croak, however, as I am starting to miss easy kills in BF2 - and I know it isn't down to my playing.

The Boomslang uses a lazer to bounce off the mouse ball at 2000dpi @ 6 MIPS. The Logitech is the same.

Just wondered how good the new Logitech G5 Laser gaming mouse is?

    Thanks, as usual.

The g5 is a very nice mouse indeed (had it about a week now). The only criticism I'd make of it is that with no weight in it it feels a little unbalanced, and that the colour of the LEDs doesn't match the rest of my rig. That really is about it.

The resolution it can manage is really incredible, it's absolutely great for high-precision gaming. I've not had any problem with it skipping or missing any input at all, unlike my old MX500.

If you've got the cash, and you like the shape of logitech mices, get it, it's great!

I love mine, it feels great, fits my hand perfectly and its accuracy is off this planet. Highly Recommended!
