    Cheap psu 30a @ 12v ???

I stumbled across this £22 psu at a couple of sites and noticed that it claims 30a at 12v!

Now i assume this is peak power, does anyone know what continuous is likely to be from that? Unfotunately it is a brand i cant find info on, the picture is of a slightly different psu and the website also sells Q-Tec so the chances are the quality will be such itll go bang.

Now, i have a Tagan in my pc and this would only be an option for a cheap psu for messing around with another (not directly pc) project of mine where i need 25a+ at 12v. What do you think? Dont touch it with a barge poll?

Heres the link, its the 460w one.

IF stability of voltages and fluctuations arent a problem go for it. Otherwise find something a little more upmarket possibly?

Well fluctuations arent important at all, but the psu failing completely is a problem as is it not being able to sustain 25a.
