AMD Board

Which is the AMD board of choice atm?
Must have the following

400FSB
5+ USB
SATA
Voltage adjust

This board is to replace my 8K3A+ as I'm stickin a Barton XP2500+ in it and wanting to get it to 200FSB (XP3200+) new features would be nice as well but I dont yet have SATA drives so thats not a biggy if theres a good board without SATA on it...

Leadtek nForce2 Ultra400 (K7NCR18D Pro II) Limited Edition - I have one of has all the things you require, all in a very nice board.

Abit NF7-S - Doesn't have enough USB.

EPoX 8RDA3+ - Believe it has everything you are looking for as well, but I don't have one so can't confirm

I'm very happy with my Leadtek to be honest can't really fault it, although I believe there has been some SATA issues these appear to be fixed now. Might be worth contacting Leadtek support as I believe they do reply...

Well i just got a Asus a7n8x deluxe and im very impressed with it, stable board, brill sound, fast ethernet and good clocking abilities.

If you can afford it, go with the DFI Lanparty NF2 Ultra. The new Revision B board should be out next month sometimes which adds the inclusion of the mounting holes and other stuff...

I have one of these boards and it is amazing. Coupled it to my new Barton 2500+ and ended up with a system that will do 2.6ghz unfortunately not prime stable though but my watercooling rig will solve that. Canna do that until Rev B though

Also have the A7N8X DLX and it is a great board, 200FSB no problem, 4 USB slots, 2 LAN ports, SATA etc, etc.

Trig, why 5 usb slots?. Don't you have some usb slots on your monitor or summin else you've got in your system?. Personally i'd stay with Abit or asus, by far the best made, reliable and overclockable in my opinion.

I want native CPU400(200FSB) not a board that'll OC to 200+, basically I wanna get an XP2500 and slap it in at 200 instead of 166 with everything else running stock....

The NF7-S has support for 6 USB ports.

You do need an extra bracket though - but if your case has USB ports on it like mine, your sorted

doesnt matter anyway as usb hubs are cheap as chips. Also im lucky my vm454 has 4 ports built in

I thought the nf7s had 2 on back plate and 2 x headers = 4 (or at least thats what the abit site says).
