    Laptop needed for Bosses Daughter

I need help! As the general office 'knows a thing or two about computers' type dogsbody I've been asked to source a laptop for my bosses daughter (it's her birthday in two weeks). They want cheap and chearful, the only requirement I was given is that it must be able to play Sims 2 and be capable of wireless networking.

I'm thinking Sims 2 will need a little more than onboard graphics. Can I get away with 256Mb?

    Any ideas?

Give us the budget m8 . A few grand can still be cheap for somebody. Any constraint on look or weight at all, as girls tend to like light and funny looking lappy lol

    This one ?

battery life is nothing near impressive but i guess that would do.

This one is more decent and i thinks it looks good

I asked about budget but they gave a wooley 'what do you think?' answer. I guess they'll probably stretch to 500 quid or thereabouts. I think they'l balk at a grand Hans Voralberg!

This is the kind of thing I'm looking for but I'm not much good when it comes to laptops

Cheers, but I'd rather stuck somewhere nearer the budget. I guess a celery would make it cheaper. The pain is finding a cheap lappy with a gfx card attached.

    EDIT
Just found this one. Any good?

Well to be honest CeM run horribly slow, my friend got a Packard Bell on the same chip and i nearly throw it outta window cause it's just too slow (he asked me to install some software lol). But that Fujitsu looks impressive for its price tag nonetheless

Well it's not like I get paid to do this I'll show them this one and tell them to run the game on low res. They're pretty computer illiterate anyhow (as in turning on a computer by pressing the monitor power button...Doh!)
