    Hey Guys!

I wanna get 2 gigs giving me a total of around £320 to spend on RAM...

I just dont know which to choose????
    Can someone help...?
Some say Corsair, some GEIL, some BALLISTIX, some OCZ... Im so baffled...

The board is the DFI Lanparty nf4.. processor is 4400x2..

£160 for 1Gb?? If you're not totally into memory overclocking, I would just go for some Corsair VS 2GB kit.. They cost about 180 quid + deliv.. and if u stay here long enuf and provide sufficient constructive posts (no spamming thank you very much).. you're eligible for free deliv at Scan.co.uk..

Alternatively, there's always XMS Pro and the much heralded Ballistix Tracers 2GB kit.... for a premium..

i personally use geil value ram - £66 per 1GiB stick.

low latency memory isn't worth the added cost, if you ask me

Yeah, just go for a decent 2Gb kit.

Don't bother with the wizzo stuff unless you are into o/c'ing big time - it's just not worth the outlay.

Hehe, Guys I will be here alright.. dont worry...
The reason I chose that stuff was to go overclocking crazy...
but yea, I dont mind paying less at all...

I mean you got exact recommendations...?
2gig is defo how much I want, but its all about which type...
I defo wanna overclock the processor but not toooo fussed if doesnt go from 2.4 to 2.4344 if u catch my drift...

Any exact recommendations? better to have 4 512's? 2 1gigs?
    so and so fourth...

Well, no disrespect to Corsair, but DFI and Corsair RAM just don't mix.

For that motherboard I'd go for OCZ. The stuff I've got in mine were, simply put, as plug'n'play as you can get with a DFI!

Got them for 396 EUROs from http://www.pc-memory-upgrade.co.uk/

    Corsair Air 540, Asus Prime X570-Pro, Win 10 Pro, AMD R9 3900X, Corsair HX 750, EVGA 1080 Ti, 2x Corsair 2TB MP600, 2x 2TB WD20EZRX, 4x8GB Corsair Dominator, custom watercooled (single loop, 2 rads)
    Corsair 550D, Asus X470-Prime Pro, Win 10 Pro, AMD R7 2700, Corsair RM750i, Asus GTX780 Poseidon, 2x Sammy 500GB 970 EVO, 2x 2TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance, custom watercooled (single loop, 2 rads)
    Synology DS918+ w/ 2xWDC Green 3TB + 2x Seagate Barracuda 6TB, N2200 w/ 2xSammy 1.5TB
    backup:
    Corsair 500R, Gigabyte GA-Z97MX Gaming 5, Win 10 Pro, i5 4690, Corsair HX750i, Sapphire Fury X, 256GB Sammy SM951 M.2 (System), WD SE16 640GB, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance, Corsair H100i

Crucial 2GB kit are pretty universal.. If DFI are having problems with Corsair, there's always GEIL or Kingston.. AFAIK, my 4x512MB of Microns are very very nice, runs 250MHz 2.5-3-3-10 no prob, abeit the 2T command rate.

Baring in mind, its not really a question of cost..
I'm willing to spend that £160 per 1gig but nonetheless, i would love to save cash...
but further nonetheless, i dont wanna get the basic basic basic ram that got shipped over with chickens in the plane

The Ballistix Z503 is dominating the WR table for 2Gb kit so if u really into ocing u might want to consider that
    Primary kit:
    Fuji S5 Pro - Nikkor AF 50/1.8 - Nikkor AF 85/1.8
    Epson RD-1

    Film Kit:
    Leica M3 - Summicron 50/2 DR - Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 - M-Rokkor 40/2

    Olympus OM2n - Zuiko 50/2 Macro - Zuiko 50/1.4 - Zuiko 35/2.8

DFI work fine with Corsair, infact, the 3dmark worl record was broken using OC DFI nforce 4 sli DR board with corsair ram. It is all lies.
