Slow SATA speed on Nforce 4 - esp when copying from PATA to SATA

    Anyone know anything about this?
My system is unusable when copying files from a PATA drive to an SATA drive?
Is this a driver issue or is it an inherent problem due to different drive standards?

Any help would be great as this is a real bummer!

    One thing comes to mind...

When installing the NF4 drivers, did you DESELECT the option to install the nvidia SW-IDE driver? It can cause problems (but you need it to run RAID).
