    ram speeds????

    i am confused about ram speeds as lots of mobos say they support ddr400 ram this being pc 3200 i belive so with the faster ram such as pc 4400 and so on can these be used?

    basically i have an asus an8 sli ultra i want the quickest ram i can use but thought i was limited to pc 3200 is this the case?

    I have some Geil 4400 in my AN8 Ultra. Basically the difference is that at higher fsb speeds you can run without a divider to the memory, mine is @ 270 with the memory @ 1:1

    NB I tried some corsair 4400 and had all sorts of problems with stability, this may just be my board, or it may be an Abit?Corsair compatability issue, so check arround as to wich ram manufacturer is favourite for your board
