fanless laptop psus

I thought these things were meant to be silent?? The black box goes "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" constatly its louder then my system with 6 low noise panaflos in it!!

Hmm, my laptops PSU never did that, and this one i've got in at the mo which is an Old P2 laptop with a massive brick PSU doesnt buzz either.

yea its a massive brick thing with a ikkle green led in it. I think its stopped now, but i cant hear over the DVD drive cause its installing windows and going nuts as usual.

its not normally a good sign when electric things buzz and crackle.
If it aint the plug i'd RMA it speedily

some are silent but some make some nasty buzzing noises - try another brand?

Only one brand makes the 110W. Doesnt matter now i cant hear it underneath the table and it runs stable enough!? Ah well
