    i LOVE the hiper... but the ultra x has a windowed psu and yes i would be able to see it...
    thing is though the ultra x is less psu power per buck.and the hiper has nicer cables.... so i dunno which to choose LOL....

    which one and why?

    PSU = one of the most important components in a smooth running system. Never mind if it looks nice!

    Never had any experiences running an Ultra, but my Hiper has been rock steady since installation (SLI system) and I now have something to put my lunch in for work too.

    On the Abit forums the Ultra X-Connect isn't well thought of - I would go with the Hiper (actually I did ).
    Scan have them too & free shipping.

    My housemate has the Hiper on a heavily overclocked 3200 venice and unlocked x800gto2 setup. I've been very impressed with its stability so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that psu to you.

    Yep another vote for the Hiper, mine is superb with a PSU its more important how it performs than how it looks, besides the hiper looks great!

    Ultra X-Connect PSU are not my fav tbh.. they have very weak 12v rails and its 500W rating cant even keep my barton running at 2.4Ghz.
