PSU Help

Is the Turbine Power 550w w/active PFC PSU on www.aria.co.uk/specials.asp any good? I'm looking for a decent quiet PSU for my new system that will be able to handle overclocking an Opteron 144/146 (more likely a 144 now Scan arent getting 146s)

Hadn't heard of this PSU before, but a 550W supply with modular cables for under £50 sounds almost too good to be true!


There are a few reviews on the net, and they all seem very positive. Looks to be a silent power supply, with stable voltages. And it looks very nice too.

I read a few reviews and ordered it a couple of hours ago. Hopefully it will be a decent PSU. It's going in a Coolermaster Centurion 530 as soon as I can find one in stock

great case mate i had one but just couldnt resist a wavemaster in blue lol, psu looks good also.
also why arent scan getting 146`s?

If you look in the Scan.Care forum, there is a post by a staff member saying they won't have them till early January. This is too late for me since I'm building the system for an xmas present. Where did you get your Centurion 530 from? I can't find them in stock anywhere.

erm micro direct i assume this is the one with the mesh front or is that the 532 or something??
