CPU Idle/Working Temp ANORMAL

Hi guys !!
Well there I think I got a serious problem:
My idle temp (by both asus probe and Everest UE) are around 49 to 51 and working temp range around 60 to 65. Atm, I'm crying over my toasty CPU that I fear will sear trough my mobo ¬_¬ These temps a ridicoulusly high, aint it ? What's up with these...? Can the y be results of bad probes?

Heres my general system specs:

P5AD2 Deluxe-E wirelss
P4 550, 3.4ghz
Dual Channel 1g corsair memory
ATI X700 PCI-E

And for the cooling...I got 1x 120 mm fan in front for Income, 1x 80mm fan on side panel fon Income, and 2x 80mm back fan for Exhaust + power supply fan of course. I'm on the stock Intel Heatsink, which ain't THAT bad...I mean, not 65 working temp you kno.

Any help please? what could I do ?

Well the probes are notoriously iffy, but you should look around for info on your specific board - Google is your friend.

Otherwise have you checked that the fan is working to spec and that the heatsink is properly seated on the CPU?

Its actually not taht bad for an Intel... me Dell Optiplex with an Intel 520 runs like 55C during idle and like 68ish during load.. and they're using one of them heatpipe coolers as well, imagine that..

Well, you definitely could google around and see what tech forums are commenting on that board. If its a problem with the board sensors, then the temp might be duff...

Try getting the latest bios update for your motherboard.They sometimes give the wrong temps on the cpu.Later bios updates sort this problem out and get a good cpu cooler http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2626.html £17.60 +post should help with your temps
