    S939 Cooler Suggestions ?

Planning to get an AMD 4400 x2 as an upgrade but im not sure what cooler i should get. Ill be overclocking (within reason), im just looking for a relatively quiet, good cooler.

    Thanks in advance.

I ended up getting a Gigabyte one recently from scan and its pretty good at keeping things cool and reasonably quiet. But a thermaltake probably cant be beat and theres always Zahlman, u get what u pay for

Big Typhoon should be their trademark..

Also what BUFF mentioned.. AC64 Pro.. Got rave reviews on it as well..

I jumped on the Zalman bandwagon recently and have been really happy with the CNPS9500 and their VF700-Cu..

Hmm would all of these handle slight overclocking or is it unadvisable when just using air cooling ?

Up to what sort of speed per core could i expect to hit safely using say the Zalman NPS9500 (i only give this as an example because its the only one thats been suggested that Scan stock =P ). The motherboard im planning is the A8n32-Sli, Tagan 580watt Psu and 2gig corsair 3500XL memory.

Got my Akasa Evo-120, its nice and silent but only slightly better than stock, so I'm going to get me a Thermaltake Big Typhoon from the rave reviews its been getting, Zalman you can't ever go wrong with, and Gigabyte have proved themselves with their latest G Power. From what I've seen though, the Thermaltake has the best performance, and its easy to change the fan for one with higher CFM I believe

I purchased 2 of the Thermaltake Big Typhoons last week, it is a v. good cooler keeping my Opty 146 at 31degrees Idle and max 42 under load for a fair few hours benchmarking.
The best thing is that it is whisper quiet... my 120mm 18db Akasa Amber Case Fan is noisier.

I know where there is 1 more, if they still have it...... no more stock until 1st Dec earliest.

Maybe others might have pushed the 9500 before, but I only run it on stock using 5v.. and 1400rpm goes oh so quietly to bring the system to a 19C idle and 29C load..

In case anyone brings up my heater problem.. yes, I do have a radiation heater now..
