    sn85g4 half ram showing.

I just got a new Shuttle SN85G4 V3 after my V2 went down. Everything is working fine, but for some reason my 1GB of RAM (512 x 2), is only showing half...not just in windows, in the bios as well. I tested each stick, reseated, swapped, etc...the sticks are fine, the slots are fine, everything works...but not together, only 512 will show up at any given point.

any ideas on this problem? could it be a lack of power? address issues? shuttle-corsair compatiblity issues? i've been searching, but no answers so far. the ram worked fine in my V2...i just don't get it.

With one stick in, does it still show 512Mb, or does that half to 256Mb?

    I found the solution here:

    http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=225387

turns out it's a compatibility issue between different versions of the DIMMs. It worked with the old board, but not with the new. I ended out just upgrading to 2 1gb dimms...
