Could anyone recommend a PCI-E mobo to upgrade from AGP?

    Hello,

I am looking to upgrade to a new mobo and graphics card, as I'd like to get PCI-E as opposed to AGP.

I currently have an NForce3 MSI Neo2 Platinum Mobo, and a Redeon 9800Pro 128Mb Heatpipe version.

I have an AMD64 3200 processor, and 2Gb Corsair XMS RAM.

Any recommendations would be nice. I fancy this graphics card...

Very happy with my Asus A8N-SLi.

Have a fe freinds with the non-SLi version as well, all happy campers

If you are an extreme overclocker though, you may want to take a peek at the DFI.

If you're happy with your ATI setup, like many people are, then you should stick to your ATI guns and go with that. But I don't know much about them, anymore.

Personally, the last ATI card I had was crap and I've not had luck with ATI in times prior to that. If you're willing to try nVidia cards then I'd recommend that and go with a 256mb 7800GT for affordability and get an SLI capable motherboard (i have an ASUS, but there are many other good ones) incase you might want to get a second 7800GT in the future. That's just my opinion, though.
