check your 3.3V rail with a multimeter, motherboard enviromental measurement chips are well known to be inaccurate and failing. for example, my Asus motherboard shows my +12V rail to fluxuate between 11.56V and 11.68V, I tested it with a mutli-meter and there's only a 0-0.01V flux.
Thanks for your advice. I actually use the mobo software and compare what I had before where it was rock solid. Now it shows it fluctuating 2.8 - 3.1 and software started crashing randomly. It looks like there is definitely a problem.
I've come across plenty of Tagans now that have bad 3.3 or 5.0V rails. Tagan just get worse and worse in my eyes.
Good luck getting OcUK to recognise that a weak 3.3V rail is a problem, they're terrible for most people, be surprised if they were different for you.
Deal directly with the manufacturer, tagan, but, be prepared for a wait, a few people I've known who've had to RMA tagans have waited weeks for just a response to their RMA request emails, and theres no phone support unless you live in Germany.
Contact Nanopoint, they deal with the RMA's for Tagan in the UK, they sorted out my Tagan PSU RMA within 3 days. Just make sure it really is a faulty PSU as they may charge you the £14 it costs to drop off a new PSU and take away the old one (if they test your old one and its not faulty).
Overall I was impressed by the RMA procedure and am happy with my Tagan.

Thanks for the advice, I have contacted Nanopoint and may be able to go and swap today at their offices. Waiting for them to call me back.
Just please make sure you test it with a multi-meter, I can't stress this enough, the problem could easily be your motherboard and you will have wasted your time completely. A cheap multi-meter can be purchased from Maplins for a few quid. If you need help with checking your rails don't hessitate to ask.
I've got a multimeter, where is the 3.3V ?Originally Posted by aidanjt

Auxillery connector, red contact in the orange wire, black to black of course. Set the multimetter to test for 20VDC
Well, went to Telford to see NanoPoint. most helpful more like.
Got my new PSU installed and everything is fine, got 3.34V rock solid. V Happy.
Glad you got this one sorted.. would have been a knightmare if all contact with Tagan warranty had been in Germany. Nanopoint handled my RMA's just great as well.Originally Posted by behappier
