    Lappie £700ish

Would like a laptop, preferably small and lightish for working on, travelling with and the odd bit of gaming on (little really taxing graphics but civ4 will probably blow it up without )
I've been searching around but they're harder to research than desktops
Basically would like (but will stretch) pentium m (740ish) 60 gig hard drive 512mgs ram, so bog standard, but i really want something better than in-built graphics. was thinking nvidia 6600 but is x700 better/as good?
For this lot i have a budget of around £700 but i could go higher and was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

EDIT: have been looking at sony's but their graphics are ****, and mesh seem alright, i like a nice looking one rather than a brick

I have been on the same quest and found that you just cant get a good laptop with gaming capabilitys for that money, unless there has been great change recently.

same here tried the dell and it was a bag of ****e, if u want a good game system your gotta be looking at over a £1k for anything with a very good 128 pci card, it sucks dont it, they keep offering deals on lappys on the tv but then the graphics card they put in them are ****e for most games, we dont all have £2k for an alienware now that is sexy!

Only 64MB of video memory, but it IS an X700. Then again, it's an Acer...*ulp*.

Acer have the worst customer service known to man (search the forums).
They are great untill they go wrong.
