MX1000 Mouse-Is my Batt dead after just 3 mths?

Hi anyhelp will be gratefully appreciated

I brought my Logitech MX1000 Laser mouse from PC worlds website 3 months ago but now i need to recharge after only 1-2 days use whereas when new it would stay fully charged (3 lights) for at least a week! And of course i just found out that the mice are useless once the Batts have died Any ideas how i should go about this

i have one m8 and i aint had a prob like that and mine is about 8 months old and it does sound like summit is wrong either the battery is dead or the charger is at fault id take it back m8.

hope u have better luck returning your item, i had to stand and wait 40 mins last week for some muppet to authorise a refund!

Try letting it run out fully, then stick it on the charger over night...

...Always done that as i recall the batteries have no memory!


Ps i think i know why its happened,i have been using my old MX700 charger as i also have a w/less keyboard so i thought rather than have 2 units on my desktop i would use the 1,it seemed like a good idea at the time. Doh!
...But theres no way of them finding out!
