    the av8 looks gd and will proberly get it but ill be getting a 3500 venice which ive read is quite new so would i need to flash the bios on the mobo?

    if so how would i do this?

    nd does ne1 have a gd site that id be able to learn about ram/latency timings etc ?

    It's possible but you could ask him what BIOS is on it & if possible get him to flash it for you.

    ah u mean buy it from him i was thinking id buy a new one becuase id prefer having everything new inc manual etc as im newish to building computers so could u be able to explain how would flash the bios at all?

    £42 incl carr is a good deal - a new one is £60 & he says it's boxed as new.
    To me that means complete with accessories & manual.

    Tbh I would expect new stock to have a Rev E compatible BIOS by now.
    If it doesn't & you don't have an older CPU to boot the board & flash it Abit UK will send you a new BIOS chip if you ask.
