PSU for going 64-bit
Well I'm hoping to go 64-bit for Christmas, but for now need a new PSU as the one I have now looks nice but is cheap and nasty.
I have £60 to spare (inc. delivery though), and want to use it for the system I have now, and for the new one I would like to get for the new year.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

It's up to ur rig man.
antec-neo 480W or targan 480 for sli rig( Not 7800GTX-sli).
-
Yeah, you can see my current specs under the my system link, but keep in mind I've got a few neon fans, neon bars and such in the case.

Tagan from scan, most expensive you can afford
-
Ah yes, forgot about free shipping with scan too, shall have a look :D
Thanks

Tagan out of that lot tbh, the SLi one if your planning SLi, the other if not.

Two Tagans there... both for SLi.

Id say the easy con one if you can afford the extra fiver, the 2force if not
-
What's the main advantages/disadvantages over them?
-
Both are almost exactly the same spec wise however the easycon has modular cables so you only need to plug in the ones you are using to save clutter
-
Oh, I see, I'd definitely prefer that.
-
So this is the one with easycon right? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=82572
I can't seem to see anything on the page, and google images shows them both as having fixed cables.
-
As said above the easycon is £5 more than your budget:

edit:
If you're not a serious overclocker but want a good psu I'd look at the Hiper ones above the Tagan on the Scan 460w - 499w list. They are good value solid psu's
-
I don't do any overclocking, but I have overclocked the 9800 pro a few times, but everything is at stock atm.
Will have a look at the Hiper one.
-
Oh ye...
With ur rig, my suggest : hyper 480W, cheaper than tagan(Around 50 quids)
-
Will the hiper one be more stable?
