    Question Aerocool Baydream/Masstige

    Is anyone using this case?

It seems to me ideal; mesh front for my watercooling radiator, drive bays all down the front like a stacker, upside motherboard with PSU on the bottom (not sure why this is good, but hey ) and it's cheeeeeaap:

Reviews above seem quite positive but just wondering if anyone here has any thoughts?

    No takers at all

Well I bought one anyway, for the record it's a good case, and the mesh looks good with lighting. Did have a problem with the inverted design whereby when gaming hot air would gather at the top heating the fan controller I had in the top bay to about 45 degrees but chopped a hole for a 120mm fan and stuck that on the top panel, near the back. Now I'd say I have perfect airflow...alternatively could have used a PCI slot blower, but this way is quieter. Having one or two empty bays at the top would probably haved helped a lot with this too. Plenty of space inside. Overall a very good case for £50, I had a more expensive case before and just fancied a change but haven't noticed any drop in build quality etc between the two...although I wouldn't have been so quick to take the jigsaw to my old case

That looks like a nice case if only it were an 80mm fan free zone

Yeh, the case looks pretty good, but those 3 fans on the side could make a whole lotta noise.

Also, its probably just me, but I like my cases to be all aluminium.

Yes I've actually unscrewed and removed the 3 fans on the side and their housing, as they seem totally unnecessary.

Last job I think is to cover the non-meshed holes on the left panel and the fan mount on the back panel, so that all the air flow comes in via the mesh on the front and the meshed right hand panel, then up through the case and out the chimney I cut on the top panel. Since moving the fan to the top panel, the temperature at the heatspreader on the back of my graphics card has dropped from a toasty 40 - 45 degrees to 29 at all times
