    Proposed SN25P Specification

    Hi,

Im planning on putting together a new SFF system for my home PC. Here is what I think im going to get:

    Shuttle SN25P S939
    Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT
    AMD Athlon 64 4000
    300Gb Seagate HDD
    Plextor PX-130A DVD Rom
    Plextor PX-740UF External DVD Writer
    2x 1gb Corsair RAM

Total from Scan is looking at around £1,150.00

Any recommendations / changes etc. Im a little concerned that the 7800 GT might not fit properly in the Shuttle so any advice there would be usefull..

    Thanks

    Andrew

Why an external DVD-RW and only an internal DVD-ROM?

Becuase having 2 DVD drives you can do disc-disc copies a lot easier than with a single recorder. I didnt see much point in having an external DVD rom. I could fit two DVD writers I guess, but in my line of work, being able to read a disc in a reader rather than a writer is essential.
