I don't think there will be any overclocking involved (not unless I have my way) nor SLi.

That Asus one is a good board. Would be fine for most people. Only thing about it is the HSF are prone to being very noisy or dying. MSI are normally ok MSI K8N Neo4-F costs about £60 or maybe an Abit AN8 or KN8. To be honest ig get the ASUS and if u have trouble with a fan spend a few pennies and put a passive heat sink on instead of a fan
I've seen tons of bad stuff to do vith ebuyer before buying something online, I check www.romulus2.com/feedback for cusomer experience to do with online computer retail. Unfortunatly the site is down due to maintenence. But ebuyer has a very bad reputation ot romulus, if it is anything atall major I would steer clear of ebuyer.
Well ok, one recommendation is the ASrock 939 dual sata2. It's 45 quid though, not 65. It happens to also do AGP, but it doesn't compromise the PCIe performance.
The only negative that I'm aware of is it doesn't do 1T cmd rate on RAM at full speed stably (yet).
Otherwise it's a fab board and I've been blown away by the quality and features.

After a month of use my ASrock 939 dual sata2 has failed I'm afraid to say. Nasty burning smell and one dead board. I agree the flexibility and value for moeny looks great ... but ... maybe not reliability? Maybe Im unlucky.
I got me an ASUS A8n-SLI (not deluxe) for cheapish off scan.
WEll it was £85 actually, but gives u the SLI slot for the future.
Does it matter if it's AGP or PCI-E?
It does if you already have a graphics card!

That Asus A8N-E board you mentioned is brilliant for the price, my cousin has one with a 64 3200+ its very stable, and performs well.
yeh that's what I kinda meant, but it didn't come across right! lol.
i dont know about these issues people have had with ebuyer - theyve never been anything but great with me - the odd time they sent me something odd or not quite right, i do think they can take the biscuit with their enotes system.
however, i find their prices competitive, good range, and nice delivery prices.
i think the abit an8ultra/sli are great boards if you dont want to oc too much (silent HSF - only thing tipping in its favour vs the asus a8n imo!)
I've heard that the ASUS isn't a great overclocker (I know iranu said there wouldn't be but you never know...)
i used ebuyer to buy my whole pc they were fine, dunno y everyone hates them just coz like opne person has a bad expeirence everyone hates em and everyone is in love with scan who are good but i dont think any better than tekheads savastore or dabs tbh
