Small form factor nat/router

Ok, I want to build a router box using the x86 arch, preferably within the dimentions 10"W x 6"D x 2"H, with space for a 2.5" HD, and a standard IDE connector, I wouldn't need anything more than 300Mhz PII (equivilant), and 64Mb of RAM (I think I have a spare 256Mb PC133 stick kicking about).. however the catch is I need 2 NICs of course.. and I need to double check the parts to ensure the Linux kernel has drivers for them.. Sound is completely pointless, a PS/2 port for keyboard and VGA for display for when I need to login locally is all thats needed.

I'm new to this small form factor stuff (and I'm aiming really small).. Thanks in advance for any help.

There was a barebones unit that was more or less designed for it.

If not , grabbing hold of an Ex-Corporate Deskpro SFF would be the best bet ( I got a pii 300 with memory and HD for abotu £30 at a computer fair which ran smoothwall for a far few years before it died ;) )

I decided the Light CV860A (533Mhz Fanless) - 3NIC is the best choice, the Neo one looks sweet too, but 1Ghz is probibly OTT for all the network services i'll run on it. 256Mb of low profile PC133, and a 40Gb 2.5" HD, and if I end up back on ADSL I can get a plugin module for that too!... That'll make for a cracking little routing box. That website is has some pretty cool stuff.

So the role of this box will be, netfilter, dhcpd, bind9, squid, and an rsyncd mirror (thus the choice of HD instead of CFlash).

It'll be just under £300 squid, so I'll have to count the pennies over January.
