External IDE HD Caddies - IcyBox??

Hey peeps,

Know nothing about these things. I just need to get two of these for a friend who has two IDE HDs that he wants to use as external HDs. Would want them to be IDE->USB2.

Want to spend approximately £25 each on them, delivered.

Anyone know what is or not good? Prefer to buy from Scan also, cos they are great and have free delivery.

had for about 8 months now, USB2 and blinking lights. Has been flawless for me.

That happend to be the one i have. for the price i really cant complain. I plug it in and it works.

It does need its own power supply mind you so make sure you have a spare plug socket.

they're REALLY easy to put together, the only instruction you need it set the hard drive to MASTER mode
