    A64 Like You've Never Seen One Before!!

    "SHOCKING" MCW50 "GPU BLOCK" RUNNING a64!!!!

    well ya all know this is going to bowman so I wanted to do a few runs wiht the 9800p on it before I sent it away.. now since my MACH II is on the ASUS I needed to cool this down.. looking into my closet I saw the MCw50.. so I said yeah that will work.. SO I removed the new CPU and install the old one wiht the IHS removed and hooked the MCW up to the chiller at a mild 4c water... Well results where at stock Voltage 1.56v "with vcore mod hooked up" I maintained a solid "15c" thru all my testing and well be shoched as a few of the results.. the 2k1 scores where well amazing.. Might max out the VC later and see If I can get closer to 25.5k at 2200mhz, but Probally wont..

    shouldnt that cpu beat the p4 3.2c in sandra?
    what score would you have had in 3dm2k1 with a p4 3.2c at stock?

    lets hope a64 is good in 64bit, i thought it would be better that this in 32bit (in sandra, the 3dm2k1 scores i dont know if its great or not, though u are beating my score by 10k - 2.2ghz AXP nf7-s and 9700np)

    do p4's have SSE3? i didnt know that existed!

    isnt condensation a problem? can see water in the pics!!

    LOL YEAH, BUT UNTILL A GOOD 940OIN MOBO COMES OUT iM DONE.. iM REBUILDING AND CHANGING COOLING AROUND AM i WORLING MORE FOR CHRISTAMS $$$ AND STUFF.

    Im number #4 in the world in 3dmark 2k1, lol It would take a "4.4-4.6GHZ" P4 to beta me...

    lol look at all the sanda benches all ya want :0 the A64 uses an ONCHIP SC mem controller..

    nice scores btw.. i only get 16.5k in 3dm2k1 with mine, im aiming for 19k with watercooled and volt mods

    sandra scores mean nothing then? they are a lot lower than they should be for urs?

    well if you do look at the bandwith "EFFICANTCY" on the A64 its at 387% but since the chip uses an onboard ddr controller the bandwith like all amds is limited directly to the fsb so 4000/4000 is one of the highest done AMD mem benches every

    The Hypertransport (on chip mem controller) on the A64 chip is not measued by Sandra, it actually delivers around 9 Gb/s bandwidth, way more than P4C 800mhz FSB system.

    woah that is absolutely insane!! just compared your 3dmark to mine and you basically doubled my score tho my t-bred is only at 2.3ghz ... happy benching, no doubt the next time i look you will be closing in upon 30,000 marks hehe
